Friday, November 7
11 am: East Coast Greenway press conference (Charlotte Street Park) Dennis Markatos-Soriano (ECGA Executive Director), Mike Seekings (Charleston City Council Member, District 8).
12 pm -2:30pm: Bicycle ride along the East Coast Greenway departing from downtown Charleston, across the Cooper River to Sullivan’s Island and back. Approximately 21 miles roundtrip. Check in begins at 11am. Free for ECGA members, $20 for non-members and includes a 1-year individual membership. Space is limited! Click to register. Need to rent a bike? Also, be sure to state that this is for the East Coast Greenway November 7th ride. Trek Bicycle Store of Mt. Pleasant will be dropping off and picking up the bikes if your request is only for the Nov 7th ride. If you would like to keep your rental longer, you must ask for separate arrangements to be made.
