Current Status of the ECG Route

The ECG is currently about 26% on traffic-free, firm surfaced trails that are suitable for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. Most of these trails are wheelchair accessible and appropriate for skaters, some are open to equestrians. We are working to develop a comprehensive list of which segments are appropriate for different users. Until that list is complete, you can get more information on which trails are suitable for you in the state trip planners.

Trail Alert

Water taxi service between St. Mary's, GA and Fernandina Beach, FL has been suspended.  ECG users should use US Rt 17 to cross the St. Mary's River; Fernandina Beach can be reached via Rt A1A.
