An avid cyclist, she runs the majority of her daily errands by bicycle: going to the post office, the bank, the grocery store, the library. She is well acquainted with the need for safe, off-road routes for cyclists and pedestrians—especially in New Jersey, one of the East Coast’s most densely developed states. Since stepping up as the ECGA's state committee chair in New Jersey in January 2003, Beth has given abundantly of her time and energy to make the New Jersey portion of the East Coast Greenway a reality. Under her leadership the NJ committee has grown by leaps and bounds and is one of the Alliance's most active. Beth resides in Rosell, NJ and has two children and two grandchildren. |
