Pat King ECGA Trustee (MA)

Ms. King is a founder of the East Coast Greenway Alliance. She has a deep commitment to a national and international trails agenda, believing in the possibility of some day linking together all communities with a system of multi-use trails. An avid hiker and bicyclist, Pat was one of the nine riders who traveled the entire 1000-mile proposed route from Boston to Washington, DC in our July 1992 exploratory/promotional tour. Pat has served since January 1998 as Chairperson of the ECGA Board of Trustees. She has been a Massachusetts representative sincce 1992 and has chaired the Massachusetts Committee during that time. Pat brings strong nonprofit administrative experience to the Board, having served for four years as Executive Director of Boston Urban Gardeners. She formerly served with the Environmental Lobby of Massachusetts. Pat holds a BA from the University of Richmond.
