Greetings from ECGA Executive Director, Dennis Markatos-Soriano

You Make Everything Possible

Dear Friends of ECGA,

Thanks to your contributions last year, our greenway grew 14.7% in 2009. And the 5+% growth to-date this year was made possible by the 1000+ people who in 2010 have already renewed - thank you!

For those who haven't yet given this year, can you help us guarantee that 2010 becomes an equally amazing year of greenway construction and development?

Please renew your membership or join today by either responding to our recent membership renewal reminder by mail or online at: greenway.org/membership.php

If you didn't receive the letter with a return envelope, you can send a tax-deductible donation made out to the "East Coast Greenway Alliance" and mail it to:
27B North Road
Wakefield, RI 02879

There is no better way to build the foundation of an oil-independent future than to establish a safe and accessible East Coast Greenway. The people and wildlife of the Gulf of Mexico and beyond need us to redouble our effort. Together, we can transition away from oil and achieve a clean energy future that lowers costs and benefits public health.

Thus far, renewal contributions have allowed us to end our staff furlough this summer. And recent gifts helped us effectively reach media and federal leaders in early 2010 that led to US DOT Secretary Ray LaHood's endorsement of the East Coast Greenway as a cost-effective transportation investment! He quoted my May Op-Ed that ran in over 15 newspapers nationwide in his daily blog here:
fastlane.dot.gov

Please help us maintain the financial health that will guarantee continued progress.

Onwards to a healthy and sustainable America!

Dennis Markatos-Soriano
