May 1-2, 2015 - East Coast Greenway Alliance Spring State of the Greenway Summit will be in Philadelphia, PA.  It will be from 9:00 to 5:00 located at Lloyd Hall, 1 Boathouse Row.  Save the date!  There will be a reception at 5:30 on the Schuylkill Banks, just north of the Schuylkill Boardwalk.  Questions, ask info@greenway.org

Saturday, June 13, 2015: New Haven Festival of Arts & Ideas Ride, Part 1: Join ECG volunteers in Connecticut for a 25 mile family fun ride. Discover the East Coast Greenway’s Farmington Canal Heritage Trailnorth from the New Haven Green . Learn about plans to connect the rail trail to Northampton, MA and visit historic lock 12 in Cheshire before returning to New Haven.  An ECGA volunteer will lead the ride and provide information and background on the trail.  Helmets & signed waiver are required. Starts at 9 am on the New Haven Green, New Haven CT. Saturday June 20, 2015: New Haven Festival of Arts & Ideas Ride, Part 2: Join ECG volunteers in Connecticut for a 30 mile ride. Discover the East Coast Greenway south from the New Haven Green. Ride Connecticut’s southwestern coastline and enjoy the  Vision Trail, Harborside Trail,  Long Wharf Nature Preserve , West Haven’s Savin Rock Trail and Silver Sands State Park in Milford, before returning to the start at New Haven. An ECG volunteer will lead the ride and provide information and background on the trail.  Helmets & signed waiver are required.  Starts at 9 am on the New Haven Green, New Haven, CT. August 22, 2015 - Join the ECGA & Rainbow Bicycle for the 2nd Annual East Coast Greenway Lewiston Bike Festival. This is a fun ride intended for beginner/moderate cyclists. Experienced cyclists are welcome but warned that we will be traveling at touring speed. The ride includes both 30 and 60 mile loop options, a scavenger hunt & prizes from local businesses, and experienced ride leaders & mechanics. Register today!
