Highlights

Virginia is a large state, with differences in the climate in different parts of the state; the ECG passes through the Piedmont and Tidewater regions.  In general, temps in July and August average in the 80s and summers are humid. January is the coldest, with high temps averaging in the upper 30s to low 40s. Winter doesn’t last very long, and spring and fall are pleasant. Heavy rains are common during hurricane season.
