Directions to The Barn - Site of the Trail Council Meeting

The South Kingstown Land Trust Barn is located at 17 Matunuck Beach Road in Wakefield. Click here for a map.

From T.F. Greene Airport and points north:

  • Take I-95 South to RI-4 via exit 9 (left side exit).
  • Stay on RI-4 for about 10 miles until it veers right and becomes US-1.
  • Continue south on US-1 for about 13 miles.
  • Follow the signs to the Matunuck Beach Road exit – you will need to use the center lane to make a u-turn.
  • After you make the u-turn, turn right onto Matunuck Beach Road.
  • The Barn’s driveway is the second one on the right (first driveway has a closed gate).

    From CT, NY, and points south:

  • Take I-95 North to exit 92 in CT (CT-2)
  • Turn right at the end of the exit and go 1.2 miles
  • Turn right onto CT-78 towards Westerly, RI/ Beaches.
  • Turn left at the first light at the end of the bypass. This will put you on US-1.
  • Continue on US-1 for about 14.7 miles
  • Turn right onto Matunuck Beach Road.
  • The Barn’s driveway is the second one on the right (first driveway has a closed gate).

    From Wakefield, RI:

  • Go south on US-1 about 4-5 miles (distance depends on where you start on US-1)
  • Follow the signs to the Matunuck Beach Road exit – you will need to use the center lane to make a u-turn.
  • After you make the u-turn, turn right onto Matunuck Beach Road.
  • The Barn’s driveway is the second one on the right (first driveway has a closed gate).
