Leave a legacy of support through the East Coast Greenway Alliance Endowment Fund 

The East Coast Greenway Alliance Endowment Fund provides members and friends of the Alliance the opportunity to make charitable gifts to a permanent endowment of financial support.

An endowment is the time-honored method of allocating certain gifts to an investment fund.  When you leave assets to the Endowment Fund, your gift becomes a legacy of annual giving to the East Coast Greenway Alliance in perpetuity. With such a gift, you will have the assurance that you are helping ensure the Greenway is safe and accessible for generations to come. A contribution to the Endowment Fund is a gift that keeps on giving. You might call it a "perpetual pledge." Even beyond your lifetime, your gift will continue to support the mission of the East Coast Greenway Alliance.

By making an investment in the East Coast Greenway Endowment Fund, you join the Legacy Circle, our legacy society, and will be recognized by the Alliance. Allowing the East Coast Greenway Alliance to publicly recognize your generosity helps encourage others to invest; however, you may remain anonymous if you so choose.

  • Provide financial stability and security for our work through a perpetual source of funding.

  • Safeguard that future generations will benefit from a well maintained, accessible East Coast Greenway.

Our Campaign:

To ensure the future of our work for a completed and well maintained Greenway, we have set a goal of $10 million by 2033 by the following timetable:   

  • $2 million by 2026
  • $5 million by 2029
  • $10 million by 2033

Recognizing your generosity:

When you invest in the endowment, we welcome you as a member of the East Coast Greenway Alliance Legacy Circle.

Legacy Circle members will be recognized by the Alliance if they so choose.
