Join us Saturday, June 22, for an easy to moderate 30-mile ride on the East Coast Greenway as part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, CT.
We'll start at 9 am from the New Haven Green and travel north to Cheshire. We'll learn about plans to connect the former rail trail all the way to Northampton, MA. Visit historic lock 12 before returning to New Haven. Our turn-around point is just past West Main Street in Cheshire, where a new concrete plank section over wetlands was completed last year. East Coast Greenway volunteer ambassador Rob Dexter will lead the ride and provide information and background on the trail.
Helmets & signed waiver are mandatory.
