Based near Portland, Maine, Kristine Keeney is the East Coast Greenway Alliance’s Northern New England Manager.
Since joining the staff in 2018, Kristine carries region-wide responsibilities for all aspects of Greenway development, advocacy and state committee and volunteer engagement. She supports communities along the route in Maine, New Hampshire and Eastern Massachusetts as they plan, build and maintain sections of the Greenway.
Kristine served previously as a community planner for the Mad River Valley Planning District in Vermont and as bicycle and pedestrian program coordinator for the City of Portland, Maine. She holds a master's degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Affairs from American University.
In her free time, Kristine enjoys skiing, biking, sailing, surfing, climbing and canoeing around New England.
