2020 Impact Series Archive: Climate

On Monday, November 16, East Coast Greenway Advisory Board member, climate expert and Princeton University professor Michael Oppenheimer joined East Coast Greenway Executive Director Dennis Markatos-Soriano and North Carolina & Virginia Coordinator Sarah Sanford for the inaugural session of the Greenway's 2020 Impact Series.

"Can we learn to live in a society that’s more friendly to public transportation, to walking, to bicycling?," Oppenheimer asked during a wide-ranging conversation. "That’s a restructuring that’s sort of underway now but not nearly fast enough. The East Coast Greenway plays an important role in it."
