From our executive director: 2017 starts strong

The Greenway is off and running toward some amazing progress and impact this year. Our two main programs for 2017 are heating up: 50 diverse organizations have signed on as partners for the 3,000-mile East Coast River Relay, with more to come, and our first-ever Southeast Greenways & Trails Summit (October 1-3) has already attracted 20 partner organizations and sponsors. I'm excited to see what these initiatives can accomplish. They will be a key complement as we focus our greenway advocacy on the local and state level from Maine to Florida.

Thank you to the dozens of wonderful volunteers who applied to be part of our Ambassador program and the dedicated state committees and other volunteers who help our project thrive. Together, we will keep our momentum strong through the rest of this ambitious year, celebrating the many successes along the way.

To a healthy & sustainable future,

Dennis

Recent record-setting funding for design and construction goes directly to building the East Coast Greenway - as it should. The East Coast Greenway Alliance needs your support to continue our advocacy work that is fueling completion of the Greenway. The Alliance has a sustained track record of turning every dollar donated to our nonprofit into $100 in public infrastructure investment.
