Our organization truly is an alliance featuring tenacious and passionate experts getting this amazing project done. From the full-time staff committed to the cause professionally to the supporters and followers who give their time, talent and treasure, it is an honor to team up with all of you. I'd like to give a special thanks to the lead volunteers who make up our Board and Advisory Board.

You have probably seen Advisory Board members like lead IPCC author and top climate scientist Michael Oppenheimer on our climate impact conversation last week and have heard Diane Jenks in her podcast, Outspoken Cyclist, that often features East Coast Greenway progress like in these recent episodes.

And I'd like to lift up our newest Advisory Board member, New York City's Parks Commissioner Mitchell Silver. He was a keynote speaker for our Mid-Atlantic Greenways & Trails Summit last year and is spearheading strong greenway progress in New York since they are as he calls them, "havens of health" and "sanctuaries of sanity" in the pandemic.

We also have welcomed two new Trustees to our Board this fall. One is a financial ethics expert and a longtime member of our Advisory Board, Azish Filabi of New York. I've known her for more than a decade, and am always impressed by her thoughtful professionalism and positive attitude. And the other is transportation engineer Vignesh Swaminathan, who is an emerging leader in the field making walking and biking safer in cities in his home state of California and beyond. They are a great addition to one of the best Boards our organization has ever had.

I appreciate every individual in this inspiring team that we are building together. If you haven't yet given this year, or if you have but are considering more philanthropic investment in 2020 -- please consider making a donation today.

Your support gives us the strength to build the best team possible to boldly complete the most visited park in America. Together, we can usher in a future marked by shared recovery, public health and environmental sustainability.

Thank you!

Dennis
