In Center City Philadelphia, the 2.1-mile-long Spring Garden Street Connector project will tie together national and regional trail networks the East Coast Greenway and the Circuit Trails between the Delaware and Schuylkill river trails. With $5 million for final design committed by the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the William Penn Foundation in August 2022, $31 million is now place for design and construction of this critical multimodal complete street project.
