Support Avery Seuter's Unicycle Ride

Maine unicyclist Avery Seuter reached the southernmost point of the continental United States on Saturday, Jan. 28 to complete a record-setting, one-wheeled, 2,400-mile adventure on the East Coast Greenway

Seuter, who departed his hometown of Wells, Maine, on Sept. 8, 2022, is the first-known person to ride from Maine to Florida on the East Coast Greenway route on a unicycle. On average, he covered 20-30 miles per day.

After developing a keen interest in car-free infrastructure, Seuter rode to raise money for and awareness about the East Coast Greenway, a developing bicycle and pedestrian route connecting 15 states and 450 communities from Maine to Florida. To date, he has raised more than $5,000 for the East Coast Greenway Alliance.
